If love is a labor, I'll slave 'till the end;

Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m a 21-year-old writer studying Psychology and Addiction Studies at Syracuse University. Here is a pretty accurate portrayal of my personality type. I’m obsessed with Pearl Jam as well as an array of fictional characters. I’m in love with the most beautiful girl in all of the infinite galaxies that exist. You can read my mushy posts about her here.

A woman’s body is a beautiful work of art, & it is her choice & her choice alone how much skin she wishes to show. Dehumanizing a woman & labeling her a “slut” or “whore” with no morals based on that choice is not a negative reflection on her, but on the bigot who is judging her.

Um wut?  Here are three ways that a woman’s body is not like a work of art:

1)  A work of art is created for people to look at.  Women do not exist for other people’s satisfaction.

2)  A work of art can be owned and sold.  A woman is her own master.

3)  A work of art is an object.  A woman is a human being.

In my view, comparing women (human) to art (object) is dehumanizing.

And we’re not really talking about women are we?  We’re talking about the female body.  Not every one with a female body is also a woman.
